Trump's Family Member Receives Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance
The rising star has impressive social media audience
The young golfer can count on numerous prominent supporters as she makes her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses several golf courses and frequently plays against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she revealed.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Just stay calm."
"He essentially advised me to compete and have fun," she added.
"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, making him rather occupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has played in just three tournaments this year and has position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
However she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.
"He stands as the top athlete in the world," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's a superior person. He told me to go out there, have fun, and go with whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against multiple top competitors in the sport at the competition, such as second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Officials commented that involving Kai helps introduce golf to different demographics, especially among younger fans.
Kai boasts millions of followers and just introduced an exclusive clothing and lifestyle brand.
Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
